1. Information We Collect

MoodLog collects the following information to provide and improve its services:

Emotion entries you create (emotion type, intensity, memo, tags) — stored locally on your device only.
Basic device information and anonymous usage analytics via Firebase Analytics (crash reports, screen views) to improve app stability.

2. Advertising

MoodLog displays ads via Google AdMob to support free access. AdMob may collect:

Device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android) for personalized ads, subject to your consent via the App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS.
General device information (model, OS version, screen size) for ad targeting and fraud prevention.
You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings. MoodLog Pro users who purchase the ad-free upgrade will not see any ads.

3. Calendar Access

If you enable Calendar Sync, MoodLog reads and writes events to your device calendar (via the device_calendar plugin). Calendar data stays on your device and syncs to Google Calendar or iCloud only through your device's own OS-level sync. MoodLog does not send calendar data to any server.

4. Data Storage & Retention

All diary entries are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences. MoodLog does not operate a cloud server and does not upload your emotion data. If you uninstall the app, all local data is permanently deleted.

5. In-App Purchases

MoodLog Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect or store payment information. Purchase history and receipt validation are handled entirely by the platform stores.

6. Third-Party Services

MoodLog uses the following third-party services that may collect data independently:

Google AdMob — advertising (Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy)
Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics — anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting (Firebase Privacy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy)
Apple App Store / Google Play Store — in-app purchase processing

7. Children's Privacy

MoodLog is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
